Greenhouse Effect!!! scary

Green house effect is the rise in temperature that the Earth experiences or global warming, because certain gases in the atmosphere ( carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, methane,etc.) trap energy from the sun, because they warm our planet, these gases are referred to as greenhouse gases.

When do we send greenhouse gases into the air?
Whenever we watch T.V, by using hair dryer, washing machine, air conditioner, microwave oven and even the lights will send greenhouse gases into the air, because to perform these functions, electricity is needed. Power plants use coal and oil to make electricity, burning coal and oil produces greenhouse gases.

Global warming may be a big problem but there are many little things we can do to make a difference, if we try, most of us can do our part to reduce the amount of greenhouse gases, by reading, saving electricity, planting tress, and the three R's, Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.

there are many ways we can improve the environment and lessen the greenhouse gases we emit into the atmosphere.
